Having brighter, whiter teeth can do a lot to boost your confidence. In fact studies have shown that we associate white teeth with younger faces.
At the Parade Dental Practice we offer different Whitening options to suit you. If you want a quick boost to get your Whitening off to a flying start, then you should choose the In Surgery Whitening – You will see a difference that day which you can add to yourself by also using the Home Whitening trays.
Professional home whitening is carried out using custom made bleaching trays which are worn at night. If the trays are not worn as directed by the dentist, then whitening will not occur.
The kit consists of 2 syringes of carbamide peroxide either 10% or 16% (depending on the dentist’s prescription), the custom made upper and lower bleaching trays & a storage box for the trays.

It is essential to ensure that all your teeth and fillings are in good condition before starting the whitening process, otherwise it can lead to discomfort.
That’s why we sometimes also require x-rays to check old fillings and in between your teeth.
We also need to make sure that you actually benefit from the whitening process as tooth whitening doesn’t change the colour of existing fillings, crowns or veneers.
