Suyin grew up in Jersey where she completed her schooling at St Michael’s and Jersey College for Girls. From an early age, she had a keen interest in science which led her to contemplate a career in healthcare. After school, she took a gap year where she took up a dental nursing position which provided her with invaluable clinical experience before moving to London to read Medical Biochemistry at King’s College. These studies provided a robust scientific foundation and further strengthened her desire to pursue a career in dentistry.

Suyin then went on to study Dentistry at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2013, before moving to Brighton. Whilst working in Brighton, Suyin discovered a particular passion for caring for nervous and anxious patients. She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease, building trust, and creating a calm, supportive environment in the dental setting. Remaining committed to ongoing professional development, she completed a Post Graduate Certificate and Master’s degree in Primary Dental Care. Just before coming home in 2016, Suyin was nominated as a finalist in both the Dentistry and Private Dentistry Awards.

Suyin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and provides friendly, comprehensive, patient-centred care. She has a special interest in dentures and finds great satisfaction in restoring both function and confidence in her patients. Suyin is delighted to continue her career in Jersey, serving the local community she proudly calls home.
